Spijker Malbec

Opaque garnet colour. Complex aromas of cedar wood, violet, cassis, mulberries and Christmas spices follows through to a dense palate of black plums, blackberries, blueberries and plum sauce. The fruit is beautifully balanced with a savoury, meaty and wild herb note, bright acidity, and moderate tannins. Drinking very well now, but will benefit from 3 – 10 years maturation. Will pair well with barbeque, roasts, duck, venison, strong cheese and roasted vegetables.
